Wednesday 15 December - Depart Melbourne (D)
This afternoon make your way to Station Pier in Port Melbourne to board the luxurious Sapphire Princess, for your 4-night cruise leg of the journey. Take your time to settle into your inside cabin before meeting some of your fellow travellers while enjoying a sumptuous dinner together.

Thursday 16 December - Day at Sea (B, L, D)
Spend the day enjoying the vast dining and entertainment options on the Sapphire Princess. With state of the art facilities, the ship itself is a destination!
With original musical productions, dazzling magic shows, feature films and top comedians, there is always something happening to keep you entertained.
If you're after some relaxation or rejuvenation, visit the exclusive adults-only 'Sanctuary' or book a treatment at the Lotus Spa.
Friday 17 December - Port Lincoln (B, D)
This morning disembark in the pretty seaside town of Port Lincoln, South Australia. Claimed to be the seafood capital of Australia, the waters around the town are famous for southern bluefin tuna and sardines.
Join one of the offshore tours and visit the Lincoln National Park, see the scenic coastline and finish the day with wine tasting at Boston Bay. There are also tours that offer oyster and seafood tastings, with a visit to the Coffin Bay Oyster Farm just a short drive from Port Lincoln.
Saturday 18 December - Kangaroo Island (B, D)
Today you will arrive at Kangaroo Island for a full day exploring. Jump on one of the many coach tours and head to Flinders Chase National Park to see the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.
If you're keen to see the local wildlife, join a guided beach walk amongst a colony of wild Australian sea lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park.
Return to the ship late this afternoon, and enjoy dinner as your cruise takes you towards Adelaide.
Sunday 19 December - Arrive Adelaide (B)
Early this morning the Sapphire Princess will dock at Port Adelaide, where you will disembark and make your way to your accommodation before checking out the City of Adelaide.
While you're waiting to check-in to your room, leave your luggage at the hotel and head out to explore this beautiful city’s wide, leafy streets, numerous parks and gardens, boutique shops, laneway bars, hip restaurants and museums.

Monday 20 December - McLaren Vale & The Cube Experience (L)
Discover some of the best food and wine McLaren Vale has to offer, including a visit to the spectacular d’Arenberg Cube.
From wine tastings to gin or beer tastings, and with plenty of free time to explore the galleries and shops in the main street, you are sure to find something that tempts the tastebuds on this full-day trip to the region.
Tuesday 21 December - Adelaide to Sydney (L, D)
This morning make your way to the Adelaide Parklands Rail Terminal to board the iconic Indian Pacific. Settle into your Gold Service cabin, and enjoy the meals, beverages and facilities available to you.
On arrival into Broken Hill, choose from a selection of off-train experiences, including the magnificent Drag Queens performing at the Palace Hotel, made famous in the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Or if local art is more your thing, you may like to visit Broken Hill's Regional Art Gallery or see the much loved 'Big Picture', housed in the Silver City Mint and Art Centre.

Wednesday 22 December - Arrive Sydney (B)
This morning enjoy an off-train excursion in the World Heritage-Listed Blue Mountains, where you can take the scenic Prince Henry Cliff Walk, the perfect location to see the spectacular Jamison Valley and iconic Three Sisters. A light lunch at The Lookout Restaurant is included, before continuing your rail journey to Central Station. Alternatively, you may prefer to travel straight through to Sydney.

Thursday 23 December - Brilliant Dinner on Sydney Harbour (D)
This evening enjoy Sydney Harbour’s signature dinner cruise aboard the MV Sydney 2000. Feast on a 3-course contemporary Australian a la carte menu, with the lights of Sydney as your spectacular backdrop. Live music and dancing will keep you entertained as you cruise around the Harbour.
Friday 24 December - Sydney to Melbourne
This morning depart Sydney on the XPT, and travel first class back to Melbourne. Early evening you will arrive at Southern Cross Station, completing your wonderful rail holiday.
