Explore three of South Australia’s famous food and wine regions on this brilliant 6-day package, with visits to Kangaroo Island, McLaren Vale and The Barossa. On each tour, you will enjoy sightseeing, lunch and tastings at a selection of SA's best wineries, including False Cape Wines, the d’Arenberg Cube and Pindarie being just a few of the highlights.

Overnight: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, 5 nights
After an early breakfast, enjoy a scenic transfer through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis, where you will board the SeaLink ferry for your crossing to the amazing Kangaroo Island. Once on the island, you will visit the Raptor Domain to see their incredible Birds of Prey Inflight display. On conclusion of the show, there is a photo opportunity to hold an Eagle (at additional cost). Then it’s on to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, where you will learn all about the oil extraction process as well as enjoy lunch with time to browse their souvenir shop to grab something to remind you of your visit.
After lunch you'll visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to sample their range of Ligurian Bee honey and enjoy an informative guided tour of the honey room where you will learn about the extraction process, taste a honey soft drink and have the option to sample the Drunken Drone Brewery’s Honey Wheat Ale.
Finish the tour with a stop at the new False Cape Wines Cellar Door, where you can soak up the brilliant views and enjoy a structured tasting of their premium wines.
Enjoy some free time in Penneshaw to grab some dinner or some last-minute souvenirs before your return to Adelaide. Dine at the Penneshaw Hotel and enjoy one of their signature seafood platters, or if you are after something smaller, fish and chips or pizza are available on the main street. After your SeaLink ferry trip back to the mainland, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Adelaide.
Enjoy a free day to check out Adelaide city at your leisure. Jump on the tram and head to the picturesque seaside suburb of Glenelg. Explore the many shops on Jetty Road, or enjoy lunch at one of the popular restaurants at the Marina.
Alternatively, you may like to spend the morning relaxing at your hotel, with a late breakfast. If you feel like a spot of shopping, the hustle and bustle of Rundle Mall is only a short walk away. Or take an Adelaide Sightseeing Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf tour (departs Tuesdays and Fridays only), and enjoy an afternoon discovering the quaint and charming Adelaide Hills, including Australia’s oldest German settlement, Hahndorf.
Today you'll head south to McLaren Vale to explore one of Australia’s oldest and most acclaimed wine regions. A highlight of today will be your visit to the unique d’Arenberg Cube. Nestled amongst the vineyards, this 5 level 'Rubik's cube' has been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses. From the Alternate Realities Museum to the many art installations on display, there is so much to see and experience while you are here. You will enjoy a tour of the Museum, followed by a formal tasting on Level 4, before finishing your time at the Cube with lunch at Polly’s Restaurant.
After this, you'll visit Beresford Wines, where you can choose from either a beer, gin or wine tasting experience in their brand new Tasting Pavilion.
The final cellar door you'll explore is Wirra Wirra Vineyards, located amongst the gum trees in the historic ironstone cellars. Enjoy a short tour of the cellars plus a structured tasting of their range of quality wines, before returning to the main street of McLaren Vale for some free time.
Today, travelling in a small group you will enjoy a food and wine journey to South Australia’s premium wine region, the Barossa. Your first stop is Pindarie, a multi-tourism award-winning cellar door, which feels more like an Australian Homestead than a winery. Learn the stories behind the wines as you sample their blends while admiring the stunning vineyard views and enjoying some morning tea.
Next stop is Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop^, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Hear about Maggie Beer’s success as a cook, writer and founder of ‘Maggie Beer Products’, and with her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce for sale, this makes for a delicious souvenir stop. Then it’s on to Lambert Estate for lunch and wine tasting. Graze from gourmet platters of seasonal produce while you learn all about the wines, the family and history of the winery.
Your final stop for the day is the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, where you will pair house-made chocolates with Vineyard Road’s handcrafted wines - a perfect way to finish off your ultimate food and wine experience.
This morning, there's time for any last-minute shopping or sightseeing before you depart Adelaide.

Airfares are not included in the package, but can be organised by one of our Travel Specialists if required.
